1st X1 209-8 v Rotherham Town 205 all out

Batting first, United slumped to 25-5 until King 101, and James Osmond 68 put on 167 for the 6th wicket. United reaching an impressive 209-8. In reply Rotherham reached 93-1 and looked in a commanding position until the introduction of Neil Longhurst 3-22, who took 2 wickets in his first over which turned the game back in United’s favour. Longhurst was assisted by Andrew Plummer 4-63 to finally bowl out Rotherham 4 runs short for 205.
