1st X1 142 all out v Castleford 214 all out

Bowling first United bowled well, led by Tom Fletcher 4-59, and restricted Castleford to what looked like an achievable 214. The other pick of the bowlers were Tom Steel 3-50 and Adam Thorpe 2-18. In response United never looked comfortable and lost regular wickets, the only resistance coming from Longhurst 19, and an entertaining last wicket partnership of 50 from Fletcher and Steel. United ended their innings 72 runs short on 142 all out.
